TTS Työtehoseura is a training, development and research institute. It was founded in 1924 and operates from several locations across Finland. TTS is a registered non-profit association. The members of the TTS workers' association are individuals, associations and companies. TTS Työtehoseura employs 180 people and has an annual turnover of 20 million euros.

 

The activities of the TTS Work Efficiency Society are funded by income from educational services, research and development projects and publications, membership fees and government grants. The TTS Workforce Association is overseen by the National Board of Education and the Department of Labor and Business. TTS Työtehoseura organizes basic education for young and adult students, vocational training, apprenticeship training and staff training. TTS Työtehoseura offers training services, research and development mainly in the following areas: transport, logistics, automotive technology and productivity. TTS is Finland's largest institution for basic and professional training for truck drivers.

 

TTS Työtehoseura has worked on several international projects, including EU funded projects. The projects dealt with the development of professional driver training, the use of simulators and virtual reality in the development of training solutions and their impact on driver training.

 

TTS Työtehoseura is a training company in the field of transport and storage. We train a variety of drivers (light commercial vehicles, trucks, lorries, buses and taxis), warehouse workers and supervisors for drivers and warehouse workers. The TTS Workforce Association has good experience developing this training. The Ministry of Education has invited TTS to be part of a small group to develop training for supervisors in the transport sector and vocational training in logistics.
